FAQ //
Is medical insurance accepted at your clinic?
At our clinic, patients who have medical insurance covering osteopathy on their policy are welcome. We do not directly process claims for you, but we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider to obtain reimbursement for your care expenses. Please feel free to contact us if you require any further assistance or have any questions.
Are there any side effects of osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a safe and gentle care option, and most people experience little to no side effects. However, it is not uncommon to experience some soreness or stiffness after an osteopathy session, especially if you have been experiencing chronic pain or discomfort for a long time. This soreness typically resolves on its own within a few days, and can be managed with rest, ice, and gentle stretching. If you have any concerns about potential side effects, be sure to discuss them with your osteopath before your session.
What is osteopathy, and how does it differ from other forms of healthcare?
Osteopathy is a natural and holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the body's ability to correct itself. Unlike other forms of healthcare, which often rely on medication or surgery, osteopathy uses manual techniques to manipulate the body's musculoskeletal system, including the bones, muscles, and joints. This approach can help to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote healing.
